Teens suspected of bullied before a TV interview about "bullying"

A young man taking a stand against the bullies in his school apparently roughed up by fellow students as a local TV crew is preparing for the interview.
"The student came to me and pushed me out of the way and said, 'What do you record?'" Said Preston Deener WHAG. "Suddenly, students pursuing me and I need help."
The incident occurred as a camera and reporter Katie WHAG Kyros was preparing to interview Preston, a second year student at Brunswick High School in Frederick, Md.
Kyros described the event:
"I have a fully adjustable camera I'm getting ready to interview Preston and his friend. And the kids just do not care. A group of three boys came, and one of them just lunged towards Preston, started pushing him and hitting him in the head so fast I was. surprised. they did not even care that I was standing there and shout about it .... It's all in front of the camera. they have no shame about it. "
However, Kyros then shows the camera does not record when the alleged assault occurred. But the crew was capturing images boy approached and Preston fled after the incident.
Preston went to the school to report the bully, such as district policies. He was recently suspended for three days after the incident last week in which, instead of telling the administrator, he fought addressed students after school, WHAG reports. Preston said he was the victim of bullies for years, including the cyberbully.
That's why Kyros is on site to talk to Preston.
Cheryl Deener, Preston's mother, hoping that the recent incident was captured on video will largely nudged the school district to take action against these bullies, WHAG report.
TV stations in cooperation with the school district and has been handed a copy of the video so that the school can identify the young people involved.
"A full investigation is step No. 1, to find out what happened and what happened," Michael Doerrer with Frederick County Public Schools said WHAG.
Cheryl Deener has started a Facebook page to support her son in which he hopes parents of bullied teens can share support and ideas, reports WMAR ABC2. Most recently, he got the county to reverse the decision making of Preston attend the homecoming since his suspension, ABC2 reports.
This is another well-known case where a parent is seeking public support for a child who has stood up against the bullies clear-only to be punished for the reply.
Randy Duke of Victoria, Texas, picket school children, carrying signs that read, "bully victims are punished here."
14 years old son of the Duke, Max, was suspended for allegedly fighting with a student who has been bullying him at school, says Duke.
In his TV interview, Preston said eloquently, "You have to have a heart and stand up for someone who is getting bullied, and it needs to stop."
